Typical Hen Weekends in St.Tropez
We welcome you to our Hen Weekend in St Tropez
The following gives an idea
of a typical hen weekend
FRIDAY
Fly in to Nice (or Toulon) and enjoy a picturesque transfer through the mountains and forests of the Esterel and down to the beautiful Cote d'Azur from St. Raphael to St.Tropez. On arrival you are shown the local amenities in and around Marines de Cogolin. You will see where our boats are, briefed on meeting times and places and taken to your apartments. Depending on arrival times you may then be able to have lunch such as moules marinares at the local beach restaurant, followed by a relaxing afternoon on the beach or by the pool. If required we will help with a shopping expedition to the local supermarket for provisions, food, wine etc. In the evening, we will take you to one of the many local restaurants, usually Monroe's with it's good value food and drink and live bands. The atmosphere is great with 1/2 price drinks from 7.30.
SATURDAY : Has many options
For the more sporty hens there is
an included, early morning (8.00) session of waterskiing or wakeboarding
available while
the less energetic can have a relaxing breakfast on the marina. At 10.00 the
water-skiers return and can join the breakfast group or all can get ready for
the St.Tropez market. We usually set off about 11.00 to arrive in St.Tropez by
boat, in time to catch the market and it's bargains. Many hen groups take this
opportunity to choose a restaurant and book the evening meal. The market
finishes about 1:30 and you can either have lunch or continue shopping in St.Tropez's wonderful shops. This can be guided if you wish.
We normally meet back at the boat around 2:00 for the return wild boat ride back
to the marina to prepare for the afternoon activity. The most popular
options here are either
1):a coastal safari by boat around the beautiful Gulf of
St.Tropez, visiting St.Maxime, Bay des Canabiers (Millionaires Bay), for some
snorkelling and swimming then a quick trip around Port Grimaud, the 'Venice' of
France. Alternatively you can opt to
2):Kayak around Port Grimaud to explore, in a
more intimate way, the labyrinth of canals and bridges, finishing with
a drink at the beach bar where volleyball and a swim are also options. If,
however, you have come for the glamorous side of St.Tropez then you might
consider
3):spending the afternoon at the famous and
most salubrious Nikki Beach Club, situated at Pampalone beach with us providing the transport.
It is also possible to Jetski, go Sailing or spend the whole day going to the
Islands of the Porquerolles in our new FAST Powerboat! (click for info)
With the days activities over we take you back to the apartments so you can
prepare for a night in St.Tropez, which may include a meal at Le Cafe, a
restaurant full of atmosphere in the main square followed by the famous Caves du
Roy nightclub just around the corner. The club is ranked among the top 5 in the
world and is where some hens have met the likes of Bruce Willis and Bono etc.
SUNDAY :
If you are on a 2 night weekend,
it is very sad as you have to go home. Depending on your departure time you
could spend a relaxing morning on the local beach or by the pool, a good option
if you over did it the night before!
Allow at least 3 hours to cover transfer and check in time prior to departure time.
If you are on a 3 night weekend, your day will start with a relaxing breakfast on the marina (to ease the head), while you choose what activities you wish to do. The Port Grimaud kayak trip is favourite as we would not have been included the previous day. We end up on the local beach where you can have lunch and drinks at the beach bar. Jetskiing is a popular option for the afternoon as you can stay at the beach and play volleyball while we take small groups off in the boat to have their session. The Nikki Beach extravaganza is also an option depending on how you are feeling and we will transport you there and back. The evening can be spent drinking wine on the terrace, before or after having a meal at the local marina restaurants, that is if you haven't managed to get an invitation to board a millionaires yacht!
Don't be
Concerned!
We are fully aware that there will be persons in every group that will be less
active than others and we will always try to involve everyone. St.Tropez can be
an expensive place but we know it well and will give advice and guidance to help
your budget. You can still enjoy the high life.
