What dreams are made of Paragliding is a hill based, free flight, foot launched aviation sport rather similar to Hang Gliding & should not be confused with Parachuting or Parascending. It is easier & safer than Hang Gliding due to it being fixed rather than variable pitch. Paragliders are controlled by pulling control handles and by weight shift. The Paragliders themselves are light weight & fit into a ruck sack so there is no great load to carry back up the hill when you are learning. It is very much an equal opportunities sport.When you are experienced you can, of course, soar ridges and thermal to cloud base in a similar way to Hang Gliding. We are accredited dealers for Firebird Paragliders, and offer your CP course free if you purchase a new wing from us. We can also supply harnesses, reserves, helmets, varios and all other Paragliding equipment.
